639 E Lincoln Hwy - Coatesville - Building Fire

City units were originally dispatched for a wires call to the rear of this address. Crews arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from the top apartment and requested the box be struck. Members had to force their way through a gate to the rear and stretched an 1 3/4 handline and put a quick knock on the fire. Fire Marshal's were requested and crews remained on scene for approx. 1 hour checking for extension.
