E Fisherville Rd - Chimney Fire

Station 49 was dispatched to a residence on E Fisherville Rd for the reported chimney fire. Ladder 49, Engines 49-2 and 49-5, Utility 49, Assistant 49 and Deputy 49 all made the response. Crews arrived with an active fire in the chimney. One crew went inside and began to clear out the firebox while a crew put the aerial to the roof and went to the top and dropped chains down the chimney. Crews were on scene just over an hour.
