4-year-old Fatally Shot in Coatesville
Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 4-year-old boy in Coatesville on Monday evening.
At 5:18 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of East Chestnut Street for a reported shooting. When they arrived on scene they found a 4-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the face. EMS units from Coatesville and Tower Health responded along with Firefighters from Coatesville; however the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the boy has not been identified at this time. Police have also not released details on what exactly happened.
